I judge people's work excessively, especially my own

I nitpick on the work of others because I have repressed in myself the opportunity to produce work without judgement. I'm always comparing my work to the best I know, and years of hoarding means I know a lot of excellent creators, i.e. not just the top-ranked famous ones, but also the underground gems that are even better than the mainstream ones.

For this reason alone I probably won't try making any music for a while.
